WHAT DOES YOUR NAME MEAN?
Jessica come from the ancient word “Yeshai” which means spiritual wealth.
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT HAVING A BRA NAMED AFTER YOU?
I feel extremely special. How many daughters who become entrepreneurs name something after their mother? With this bra, my daughter is saying to me...through your never ending support, you helped me achieve some of my goals, and because of this, I want to give you the honor of having one of the first bras developed in your name.
DO YOU REMEMBER BUYING YOUR FIRST BRA? WHAT WAS IT LIKE?
I was always rather...small busted. Buying my first bra was embarrassing because I didn’t really need one (like many 12-13 years old) but I wanted to feel grown up and have one.
DO YOU REMEMBER BUYING YOUR DAUGHTER HER FIRST BRA?
Sophia was a very independent dresser and she liked to shop and pick out things on her own. I don’t even know how old she was when she first purchased one.
WERE THERE ANY SIGNS WHEN YOUR DAUGHTER WAS YOUNGER THAT LED YOU TO BELIEVE SHE WOULD BE RUNNING A COMPANY TODAY?
My daughter created her first company when she was 11 years old. It was called Berlit Fashions! I even have some of the ideas and clothes she created with her friend Sasha. Even the name of the company is rather sweet. Both girls combined their last names (Berman and Levitt) and came up with their company name. They planned to be future partners but naturally, fate took its own course. However, Sophia and Sasha are still close, and Sophia was the Maid of Honor at Sasha’s wedding.
ANY FUNNY BOOB/BRA STORIES YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE?
When I was in Europe in my late teens, I was on a nude beach. I got the worst sunburn I ever had and it was on my boobs. They were throbbing and I had to cover them with ice packs and ointments. It was actually not funny at all but sort of silly as I look back in retrospect.
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT TRUSST?
I love the concept of Trusst. I know so many large busted women who suffer from back and shoulder pain and are excited about the growth of the company.
I love the name ----Trusst.
Sophia and Laura are so clever to come up with a name which encourages “trust” in a product so personal, as well as “truss” which guarantees support. Brilliant are they both!
And lastly, I love the owners of Trusst! Go for it brave women!
