Find New Energy To Tackle The Day

Do you ever find yourself in a rut? Do you struggle to find the energy and push through the day? Well, we have some great tips for you! We want you to reach new productivity levels and get you back to having lost of energy.

Carving Out “Me Time” for Movement and Growth

If you’re seeing signs of the lazy bug, you need some new motivation! Set aside thirty minutes to one hour each day for movement. This time is for you to gain new energy and excitement for your day. Whether that means getting up earlier to join in on a fitness class, picking up a book, meditation, or listening to music-- find your niche and allow yourself to have time to unwind and relax.

Once you create that space in your day for that “me time”, don’t let it slip away. You would not skip a dentist appointment or job interview. So do not skip out on an appointment with yourself!

Refresh Your Work Space

We know the feeling of returning to the same location and sitting at the same desk every day. It’s no wonder why you are not finding the energy you first had. Change up that space a little, girlfriend!

Changing your work space does not need to take a ton of time or money. Try adding some new photos, a pop color, or some greenery into your space! This will freshen up your work space and help you to feel energized throughout the day.

Calm Your Mind and Body While Keeping Up Energy

No matter what you do for work, allow yourself time for a mental check a few times a day. Whether that be standing up, taking a small lap outside, or assess the progress you have made in your day thus far-- any bit of movement or mental break throughout the day will help with your overall energy. Take time to ask yourself the following questions: Are you moving at a strong pace? Are your relaxed? Are you being productive? This will help you to refocus your thoughts and energy.

Try checking up on your to-do lists at the top of each hour, and begin to take note of your body language and posture at this very moment. Are you sitting in an upright position, or hunched over? Are you tense or relaxed? When was the last time you drank water or took a 10 minute break? Asking yourself these simple questions every hour will help you stay on track with your goals.

If you’re feeling burnt out too often, you should try carving out time in the day for rest and regrowth. Adding more moments of relaxation and meditation can elevate your mental state and work ethics. We want you leaving work able to find the strength to tackle the other things on your to-do list. Whether that be tucking the kids into bed, making dinner, or doing something for you. These are all steps to help you gain more energy throughout the day. After all, you deserve it!
