Dear, Sophia...Shoulder Straps

Dear, Sophia -

How can this bra be comfortable with such thin shoulder straps?

Hi, Mary -

Thank you so much for your feedback and thoughts. We take our customer feedback very seriously. In fact, all of our new bra styles have been designed with such feedback in mind.

Now, to answer your question…

Typically, with an underwire bra, you would rely a lot on the band and straps for the support. If you have ever worn an uncomfortable bra (let’s face it, we all have in our lives) you know that the pain is usually in the back and shoulders. This is because you are not getting adequate support from your bra.

With a Trusst bra, because of the way that our patented bra support was engineered, you will rely a lot less on the straps and band. Of course, with any bra, you need the band and straps to actually keep the bra on and in place, but with our bras, the support comes from the support structure molded right into the cups. What does that mean for you? It means that the structure is actually supporting from underneath as opposed to using the straps to hold most of the breast weight. Because of this, the straps don’t necessarily need to be made to bear the weight of your breasts. Our straps are stretchy and with our newer styles like our Marjory t-shirt bra and our Naomi convertible bra, the straps are fully adjustable. Which means you can make them as tight or loose as you prefer.

When it comes to wearing a bra, we know that it’s a very personal thing to a woman so we want to make it as easy and comfortable as possible. You should not have to worry about your bra throughout the day and just be able to live your life to the fullest with no added pressure (literally).

I hope this helps you! If you have more questions about our technology, we encourage you to read more about our technology or find out more about the benefits of wearing a Trusst bra on our Bra PhD page.
