The Trusst Team Gives Thanks
It’s once again that special time of year, and yes we are referring Black Friday. By special, we actually just mean extremely busy. This is the time of year when we will all be inundated with holiday sales emails, commercials, and holiday music filling our ears everywhere we go. Luckily, here at Trusst, we love this time of year and even though the former is true, we are also overwhelmingly thankful for many, many things this season - including YOU.
We asked our fellow Trusst employees what they are most thankful for this holiday season and some of the answers are what you would expect while others are a bit more interesting…
“I'm thankful for freedom - for the opportunity to pursue my dreams (founding Trusst) and the ability to challenge stereotypes and speak our minds. I'm thankful for the 100+ women who made it to Congress this year and the inspiration they will bring to my future daughter. I'm also thankful for an incredibly loving and supporting family, friends, and team at Trusst.” - Sophia, Founder and Chief Creative Officer
“I’m thankful for my family (duh!), living in a country like the U.S.A. (a grand experiment), and being able to work with a great team to bring Trusst to life…” -Bill, CEO
“Of course I’m thankful for my family! I’m also thankful for air quality regulations, clean drinking/bathing water, and safe transportation regulations and complete/finished transportation infrastructure. With all of these struggles of a developing country, I am grateful that my extended family made extensive efforts to make us comfortable during our last visit. Lastly, I’m thankful for BAST’s moisture-wicking fabric that’s inside all of our Trusst bras. I wore the Naomi for almost 48 hrs straight during my international travels ( via by foot, car, air, and train) across the globe. I traveled from cold (32F) to hot (88F) environments and I felt comfortable and dry the whole time.” - Susan, Director of Innovation
“Family, friends, and Basil (my cat) are the top of my list! But, I am also thankful for every day we get to wake up and do the things we love. Every day is a challenge and comes with its own obstacles but we get the chance to make it all happen and just like our bras, we support each other. So I am grateful for everyone at Trusst and what a great team we have become!” - Mariah, Product Designer
“My family, with all their quirks. My incredibly supportive friends. My apartment, I know I know, but I really love my place because I feel so comfortable and safe there which I don’t take for granted. Lastly, I feel really lucky to be able to grow in my career and do my part to spread the word about this incredible company and all of the talented people that work with me.” - Chelsey, Content Producer
“Mom. Family. Life in general. My Trusst team. Elephants. The indomitable desire to improve each day.” - Nirmal, Senior Analyst
“Family, friends, my son Joey who constantly reminds me there’s magic in the simplest things. Having a home to raise him in a great neighborhood in a city that we love. That I get to wake up & have the opportunity to do work that I love with a wonderful team with a great mission. my cats, coffee, whiskey & pizza also make the list…” - Joe, Graphic Designer
“I am grateful for the support and love from my friends and family that in turn fuel my passions in life. I am also grateful for the opportunity to work for Trusst. I believe it stands for a lot of the beliefs I have as a woman-- strength, all-around beauty, and of course trust in yourself. I also can't forget to mention how grateful I am for coffee, cats and cheese.” - Bre, Community Experience Manager
We hope you take some time during this hectic season to reflect and take stock of the people and experiences in your life that make this time of year truly magical.
